Founded at the end of 2023, Manila Montet grew strongly in 2025, reaching 45,000 followers, with more than half of our audience based outside the Philippines.
Many Filipinos abroad, as well as foreign fans, discovered Philippine football through our club.
Throughout the year, several of our posts generated real discussions beyond the Philippines.
One post about the Philippines vs Vietnam women’s national team final was widely debated and picked up by major Vietnamese media outlets, who mentioned our analysis.
Other posts published during the year were also relayed by Indonesian media and Arabic-language sports platforms, showing the growing regional and international reach of our content.
Our page is active every day, with constant discussions in the comments.
In 2025, our content was naturally followed or commented on by people who live football at a high level, including Sandro Reyes and other key players of the Philippine national team, the family of Dro Fernandez (the new star of FC Barcelona), the content creator Becoming Filipino, the father of Alphonse Areola, and other key players and football figures from the Philippines and abroad.
On the sporting side, 2025 was also an important step for the club. Manila Montet welcomed its first former international player, a moment of pride and a sign of growing sporting credibility.
The Montet Challenge Series also became more competitive than ever, with many top teams now aiming to win it.
Manila Montet is a club, but also more than a club. Our mission is to help grow, structure and push forward Philippine football, on and off the pitch.
The work is far from finished, but 2025 showed Philippines football is moving in the right direction.
