Javier Gayoso, the son of professional basketball player Jayvee Gayoso, initially played basketball but switched to football at a young age, starting at 4.

His mother introduced him to football in kindergarten, and his maternal grandfather and uncle were also footballers.

Jarvey touched on the historic run of the national team as he capped a memorable year for him personally.

« This year has been a blessing and one I will always cherish,” Gayoso said, reflecting on his championship with Kaya FC, signing a contract abroad, and soon becoming a father.
